Users also feel that the bundled project management capabilities are a big plus.

Searching through the elements is very simple. Just enter your search term and Insightly returns contacts, emails, tasks and other elements with the search term. Creating an email campaign and mass mailing to a group of clients is also very simple to do.

Social Integration and listening in at your fingertips

Users also love the fact that linking social media profiles to a contact is a breeze. Yes, the CRM is powerful enough to pick up social media profiles of a contact based on the contact’s email.

All you have to do is add a contact. The CRM will automatically  add the social media profiles of the contact. There are a number of social media services that are supported – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ to name a few.

Some users feel that automatic social media integration can be embarrassing. There should be a means of making this an option. Users feel that reporting on the sales side of Insightly is strong but the project management should have stronger reporting capabilities.

Other users feel that the number of custom fields is limited and that the CRM should be able to generate reminders to follow up with customers.

Since Insightly is an Saas and is browser based, it can be slow at times. We are however sure that the company is working on improving end user access and speed.

None of the users reported major glitches or problems while using Insightly. A number of  the downsides were based on the features that the end users would like to have implemented.
