Bindo POS vs. Alternatives in 2024

Bindo POS’s main competitors include Vend and Lightspeed.

Vend is a cloud based POS system which can work on certified POS hardware as well as PCs and mobile devices. It can even work in offline mode when there is no internet connection with the data being uploaded automatically once connections are restored. The product can support multi-store retail operations, provides a customer loyalty program for rewards, and supports multiple payments options including via PayPal and mobile.

Bindo POS on the other hand also handles inventory & purchase orders to ensure on demand stock requirements are met. Additionally there is an integrated Time Clock system for tracking employee time & attendance, with support for e-commerce stores accessible via the web & mobile for online shopping requirements. Finally there is an integrated CRM module to handle customer management and gift card programs which can be used for in-store purchases.

Then there is Lightspeed which is an Apple based POS system that includes both fixed and mobile POS stations. There are real-time dashboards to monitor store performance, track high performing products as well as the most effective marketing campaigns. Additionally POS stations offer up sell opportunities by displaying related products on promotional pricing for customers to consider. The product also includes its own basic accounting module which can be integrated to Quickbooks for advanced financial management.

Bindo POS does not currently support all of these features but can manage multi-store requirements. Additionally the product is a cloud based solution and uses IPads exclusively as its POS unit for retail stores.
