Accolent ERP vs. Alternatives in 2023

Agresso Wholesale by Unit 4 provides a complete solution for Wholesale Distributors that covers the full procure to pay as well as the order to cash cycles. The product includes features that covers supply chain execution and provides fully enabled e-commerce features to enhance the sales offerings of these distributors.

Additionally Agresso Wholesale can handle integration with several transportation carriers, supports project management functionality to effectively manage resources and time utilization, as well as provides a suite of managed maintenance services.

Accolent ERP on the other hand is primarily focused on Accounting, Sales, Purchasing and Inventory management while offering an e-commerce platform for fulfillment as well. This is because Accolent ERP has been developed by ADS Solutions to focus only on the specific requirements of the Wholesale Distribution market. This is unlike Agresso which has been developed to include a number of products in other industries in addition to its Wholesale product.

Then there is NetSuite for Wholesale Distributors which offers wholesale distributors a purely cloud based solution with extensive configuration features to allow customers to customize the product according to their business needs. In addition NetSuite offers reporting analytics for in depth analysis of sales and performance metrics, as well as customizable reports with real time dashboards.

In comparison while Accolent ERP does not offer such in depth configuration & customization options, it does offer customers two deployment options via an on-premise solution or a cloud based solution unlike NetSuite. Yet while Accolent ERP does not currently provide detailed analytics tools, it does address the basic reporting requirements of most common wholesale distributors.
