  • Practice Pro: The cost of the Practice Pro plan is around $89 per user per month.

ActionStep Monthly Pricing Plans

Prices and Plans Compared

The Practice Pro plan offers system-wide workflow automation, client portal, client intake & CRM, and customized reporting. The Practice Pro plan does not offer any accounting or financial reporting feature, which requires users to purchase a separate accounting software.

However, the Practice Pro+ plan offers accounting and financial reporting features. But again If the users already have a separate and well-established payment process, then opting for the Practice Pro plan can be a better approach. However, the Practice Pro+ plan offers users a separate dedicated server giving users faster-processing speed and access to features.  Even though Practice Pro+ is feature-rich, it does not offer multi-currency support.

The Premier plan offers all the features offered by the Practice Pro+ plan along with features such as advanced business intelligence, advanced document management, client communication tools, and extra performance infrastructure. Overall, Premier Plan does offer additional features but if you do not have a huge client-based then considering Practice Pro and Practice Pro+ plan can be the way to go. However, if your business is spread across various regions with multi-currency requirements then the Premier plan must be the way to go.

As compared to LEAP, the features offered by the basic plan of ActionStep offers better features and feature support. Customizable fields and third-party integrations give ActionStep a benefit over its competitor LEAP. Also, compared to its other competitor, Best Case, yet again ActionStep at a lower price offers a better set of features including an activity dashboard, legal case management, and reminders.

Which Plan Is Right for You?

ActionStep is fit for organizations searching for easy-to-use legal practice management software. All of the plans are entirely different and offer features that make sure businesses have complete aspects of the features.

For instance, the accounting features are only part of the Pro+ plan whereas the Pro plan offers only legal practice management features that save the user from the hassle of having more than one accounting software. However, the only concern is that the Pro plan does not have a separate server which may be a concern for organizations having large clientele and communication requirements.

Additional Costs

Although the pricing plans offered by ActionStep are straightforward, there is an additional price for the implementation setup of the Practice Pro and Premier plans.

Our Veredict

ActionStep offers features that fit well with the specific requirements of the organizations related to legal practice management. There is no additional fee for the basic plan, but yes there might be a cost added for implementation. But, again implementation cost is business-specific.

Moreover, there is no free trial, the users need to book a demo to get a basic understanding of the features. However, if compared to its competitors, the features offered by ActionStep with respect to price are worth consideration. However, it is dependent on the organization requirements for the final selection of the software.
