Much more than a typical ‘off the shelf’ package, the AIMsi is a complete point of sale (POS), accounting and business, inventory management application software. This software offers, not only a way to control the inventory, management of the customers, tracking all of the sales, but also includes full integration of the custom add-on modules like the Repair and Service tracking, Lesson Scheduling, Short term rentals, Contact Management, Emailing capabilities, Time Scheduler, and Rent and Sales Contracts.

The user has the option of creating his or her own custom retail software solution by adding whatever is needed.

This software is a product of the Tri Tech systems. The company was founded in 1984 by Dave Cox. It’s mainly focused on releasing retail software to the market, earning reputation for its affordable, efficient and simple products.

It gives you full opportunity to save a lot of time by managing your inventory, track your parcels, resale store and point of sale features. The AIMsi increases productivity by providing you with tools to maintain checks and balance, purchase order, management of the customers, T-Scheduler, deal with an error-free payroll, barcode labeling, contact management (CRM), short term rentals, email integration, and it does so with an explicit instruction manual.

For all of the retailers that are web based, AIMsi offers an exceptional package for them. E-commerce software is the solution, and it features a shopping cart, and components which include packages from business to business, and consumer to business. This software integrates with AIMsi for the purpose of inventory control management.

AmberPos is a point of sale solution that supports single & multi-store operations. Additionally it can also handle retail shopping requirements in-store or via e-commerce web stores. Its features include inventory & customer management along with support for gift cards for frequent buyers to enable them to take advantage of promotional or discounted offers. The product can also manage suppliers along with purchasing to ensure inventory is correctly stocked to meet demand. It is however available only as an on premise solution.

AIMsi on the other hand provides a similar solution with some additional features such as being able to handle rental customers as well. There is also a service module to attend to customer product repairs or defects. The product can also integrate with time & attendance systems to track employees work timings, as well as with payroll to ensure proper compensation.

Then there is MainRetail which has a reporting module to track sales performance as well as the best moving goods in the store. It can handle lay-away schemes and provides a marketing module to handle multi-channel advertising and track its performance. There is also an option to manage sales commissions & incentives for staff to encourage more sales.

While AIMsi provides its own reporting module it does not address marketing at the moment. However it does support product trade-ins and package deals for loyal customers, as well as customization of the product to meet the business’s requirements
