Some of the key competitors for ARMS are Bindo POS and Vend.

Vend provides a point of sale solution that is offered in the cloud with support for PC based and IPad mobile based POS units. The system can continue its operations in offline mode and can support retail chains with multiple stores. It provides connectors to integrate with a variety of third party applications such as accounting systems, and supports multiple payments include cash, credit, deposits, partial & layaway as well as via PayPal. Its features include inventory control, customer management as well as loyalty programs for customer rewards & discounts.

ARMS on the other hand provides the main features of point of sales, customer & inventory management like Vend, but can also handle procurement & warehouse management as well. Additionally the product is available as an on premise, hosted as well as cloud based solution unlike Vend.

Bindo POS in comparison includes employee management and time & attendance which are not available in ARMS. Additionally there is a CRM system with customer loyalty program, e-commerce & mobile shopping support, as well as product matrix inventory for bundling & special offers. Bindo POS is also offered in the cloud and utilizes IPads for both stationary & mobile point of sales stations.
