Auto-Star offers software e-commerce business growth like inventory, customer, order, and employee management. Auto-Star is in the innovation technology business for 35 years now.

The software is a viable product for retail businesses of all sizes and a variety of types. It a useful product for grocery stores, pharmacies, stationary and gift shops, restaurants, bars, and other retail joints.

Auto-Star Retail POS Features

Core POS management capabilities of the software include barcode scanning, credit card processing, customer history, discounts and gift cards, layaways and quotes, receipt printing, refund management, and transaction hold. The software also offers a wide range of inventory management capabilities including automated ordering, customizable data fields, inventory forecasting and classification, vendor catalog import, inventory reorder alerts, supplier database, and support for multiple locations.

Auto-Star Retail POS offers customer management capabilities of customer database, label printing, loyalty rewards program, and purchase history. For better employee management, it offers commission management, employee performance tracking, and customized security access levels. Other important capabilities include customizable reporting, accounts receivable management, bank transactions, and support for a variety of peripheral devices.

Shopseen is another POS software for small to large business and has the same pricing as Auto-Star. However, it highlights product listing and marketing, unlike Auto-Star which is on business management. Auto-Star has no product listing feature in any of its packages. Shopseen links to social media for boosting sales which Auto-Star did not offer. Shopseen has a better online review and has the same price range as Auto-Star.

It is better when it comes to growing sales but lacks other management features. Oracle Food and Beverage is a cheaper alternative for Auto-Star Retail POS which has below average pricing. Though it caters to small to large customers like Auto-Star, it is only limited a restaurant.

When it comes to employee management, Oracle uses time-clock while Auto-Star uses biometrics. Auto-Star can track and analyze customer’s buying trends whereas Oracle can only record it. Auto-Star has higher online reviews from clients than Oracle and will help more on business growth through its wider range of POS features.
