BuilderStorm is a construction management software built for small to large property development, contractors, and construction companies. Its key features include 2D drawing, document management, scheduling, 3D modeling, budget tracking, job costing, subcontractor management, incident reporting, and equipment tracking. It is created by the company BuilderStorm which was founded in 2014. It has up to 50 employees and is currently located in Horsham, Surrey.

BuilderStorm Alternatives

BuilderTrend is cloud-based construction project management software for the same client size and price range as BuilderStorm. BuilderTrend is more accessible and flexible when it comes to platforms supported (web,iOS, and Android) unlike BuilderStorm (web only). BuilderTrend provides similar features as BuilderStorm including activity tracking, employee time track, Gantt chart, project tracking, and timesheets.

However, BuilderStorm offers more functions than BuilderTrend like asset management, collaboration tools, drawing tools, and more. Both have high customer review online but BuilderStorm is a more comprehensive software than BuilderTrend. Raken is a field management and construction solution for small to large businesses.

Raken pricing is lower ($15/month) than BuilderStorm. Raken has app version of iOS and Android unlike BuilderStorm. Raken also provides collaboration, activity tracking, e-signature capture, photo storage, task management, and employee tracking.

However, Raken lacks fleet management, vehicle management, drawing tools, SMS service, and BIM model which BuilderStorm provides. Both have high customer review scores online but BuilderStorm is a better software for its wider range of features.

BuilderStorm pricing is below the average cost of construction management software. Price starts at $5,000 per year. It has the ability to record and track all works completed, manages assets remotely, store company documents, manage all contacts, and record and share activities with the whole team. It has BIM Model for BIM level 2 compliance. It provides a seamless and paperless workflow, document management and collaboration, and drawing storage.

Its fleet management system can manage all vehicles, unique in-browser induction system, holiday booking, and plant manager. It is also capable of communicating, annotating and updating drawings in real-time with different collaborators across the whole project team.

It has risk management, project management, and RFI queries facilitation features. It enables workers onsite to log in and out with their location and monitored by managers. It has text SMS service, timesheet, user management, training tracker, and to-do list.
