Cura GRC vs. Alternatives in 2024

The main competitors for Cura GRC include Riskware and MetricStream.

Riskware provides a suite of risk management solutions that can be delivered as an on premise solution or in the cloud. Its key features include corporate governance standards, standards compliance monitoring, as well as business continuity & security management. Other features include support for health, safety & environment standards with a claims module to minimize exposure in the event of compensation requirements by ensuring better compliance with risk regulations & standards.

Cura GRC on the other hand addresses similar areas as Riskware, but includes an audit function for both independent & self assessment surveys to review compliance with risk standards. The product includes workflows and proactive notifications for potential problems that need to be addressed, and can be delivered as an on premise, hosted or cloud based solution. In addition to the main features of Riskware, Cura GRC also covers project risk management as well as financial risk controls.

Then there is MetricStream which offers some additional features such as brand & reputation risk management which seeks to manage & minimize adverse publicity due to a major governance crisis. Additionally there is loss management planning which seeks to estimate potential exposures to enable better planning & compliance procedures to reduce payouts if a problem should arise. The application is also web enabled and accessible via mobile devices.

While Cura GRC does not include these features currently, it does support integration with third party applications as well as other reporting solutions to ensure delivery of risk information in the format customers require.
