EVault SaaS vs. Alternatives in 2023

The business needs to compare and analyze different tools to have software that fits their organization needs. The three tough competitors are Norton 360, Carbonite, and Paragon.
  • Functionality: Norton 360 is a cloud-based data backup and recovery tool to help organizations secure their sensitive data. The features offered by Norton 360 include storage & protection of important data files, external hard drive backup, multiple PC support, automatic backup, and cloud backup. Norton 360 offers all the necessary features for data backup and recovery.

However, there is no support for syncing and integrations. Compared to EVault SaaS, Norton 360 has limited features and needs to cover a long road to offer more features. Carbonite is also a cloud-based data backup and recovery software.

It offers features such as remote sharing & access, video backup, unlimited cloud storage, hybrid backup, courier recovery, mirror image backup, and unlimited protection. Moreover, you can easily migrate from any data backup service to Carbonite with an easy migration feature. The feature set of Carbonite is similar to EVault SaaS. However, Carbonite does not offer any clear information on how they ensure data compliance.

Paragon allows you to store the backup on the cloud, local storage, or on a local network. It offers features such as managing virtual & physical environments, agentless backup, version control, application-level backup, and multitier infrastructure. With the help of a schedular, you can also schedule your backups.

Moreover, you can encrypt your data by selecting an encryption model. Both Paragon and EVault SaaS have similar features. However, the multiple encryptions from Paragon are preferred by the organizations.
  • Pricing: The cost of Norton 360 is around $59.99 per year for the basic plan. Whereas the Ultimate package costs around $349.98 per year. However, you can get a free 7-day trial before making a final decision. The cost of Carbonite is around $83.99 per year for the basic plan. Whereas the Prime package costs around $149.99 per year. In addition, the price of Paragon is not mentioned on their official website. However, Paragon does offer a free version. In comparison between Norton 360 and Carbonite, the basic plan of Norton 360 is more affordable, but the advanced package of Carbonite costs lesser.
  • Support: EVault SaaS offers online support in the form of customer support. Whereas Norton 360 offers both online support and a community for users to share their concerns and issues. Whereas Paragon offers online documentation, community support, knowledge base, and support forum archive to help users discuss new & legacy issues. Whereas Carbonite offers online customer support and a knowledge base for user assistance.
