Wintac vs. Alternatives in 2023

The main competitors for Wintac are FieldOne and FieldAware.

FieldOne provides a field service management solution that includes scheduling & dispatch, route optimization and inventory management for spare parts. There is a CRM system to manage customers support & service histories as well as service agreements & warranties to govern support requirements. Technicians can access the system via mobile devices and utilize a knowledge base which stores product information & manuals as well service & repair instructions. There are portals for customers and suppliers and FieldOne provides social collaboration tools to share information amongst service teams.

Wintac also includes similar features and includes support for estimation & proposal submission, as well as an integrated accounting system. This can handle purchasing, invoicing & payments as well as payroll and financial reporting, and if required can also be integrated with Quickbooks.

FieldAware on the other hand is workflow based and looks to optimize scheduling and ensure a high compliance level with service commitments. This is done through business analytic tools which include customizable dashboards which display real-time information on the service operations. The product is mobile device access ready for in the field technician usage and work assignment, and has an API to easily integrate to third party applications as required.

Wintac does not provide an API but does offer integration to Microsoft Office, and custom integrations can be developed if needed. Additionally the product also has integration with a fleet management system for GPS tracking of service technicians, which can then be used for real-time route optimization and work allocation.
