Procore vs. Alternatives in 2023

Procore competes with leading software solutions in the construction industry. Some of these products are STACK, AutoDesk Construction Cloud, and RedTeam, and are compared to Procore in some critical aspects below:
  • Cost: Although Procore does not publicize its pricing plans, the software passes as less expensive. STACK, on the other hand, has various plans, including a subscription that is completely free of charge, then starting prices from $1,999-$4,999. AutoDesk Construction Cloud and RedTeam also do not have their pricing publicized. Procore and STACK have a free trial option, while the other two software also have demo modes.
  • Functionality: Procore is cloud-based, as is STACK, AutoDesk, and RedTeam. These software solutions have similar features, only differing from each other in terms of performance. STACK is suited for small businesses but underperforms when deployed by larger enterprises. The vast array of tools in the Procore software is similar to those on AutoDesk and STACK. RedTeam is more straightforward, majoring in construction, while the others support designing and planning, industrial engineering, et cetera. Procore compares favorably with RedTeam and Autodesk in terms of networking. Procore features more sophistication, though all four platforms tick the box for ease of use.
  • Customer Support: The Procore software providers have excellent support programs and a 24/7 support line responding to messages in under 1 minute. STACK does not have around-the-clock support, while AutoDesk and RedTeam also boast live support as Procore.
  • Customers/Industries: Procore boasts a broad reach, targeting large and small businesses and even freelance workers. In terms of networking, Procore supports interactions between owners, contractors, and other stakeholders on site. RedTeam solely targets the construction industry, while STACK and AutoDesk diversify just like Procore. From architectural designing to Civil Engineering, Procore and AutoDesk target large markets. STACK and Procore also share a similar target in nonprofit organizations. Procore has over I million subscribers globally, while AutoDesk boasts similar figures. STACK has over 80% of its customer in small and growing businesses in construction.
  • Scalability: Procore software aims to be efficient at saving time and cost for businesses and project owners. Compared to its competitors, Procore supports growing and large businesses similar to both RedTeam and AutoDesk. STACK, however, favors smaller businesses due to its free plan package.
