CORESense vs. Alternatives in 2024

The major competitors for CoreSense are Shopify POS and Lightspeed.

Shopify POS provides mobile point of sales units integrated with a cloud based retail management system. The product can handle customer management, loyalty programs as well as inventory management for sales, returns as well as refunds. It integrates with third party accounting systems for financial requirements and includes a marketing module to engage with customers and encourage repeat buying through promotions and sales. Shopify POS is also setup to work in offline mode if required to ensure minimal operational disruption.

CoreSense on the other hand is a cloud based retail management system as well, but one that also supports e-commerce based web stores. There are also portals to handle business to business commerce and an integrated call center for customer queries & issue management. Other options include a CRM system, merchandising planning & procurement, as well as warehouse management to ensure efficient stock allocations.

Another option is provided by Lightspeed which is a cloud based solution that works only on Apple devices for its point of sales units. While it includes a number of options from CoreSense it can also handle multi-store chains in one integrated solution, as well as provide cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for all sales to encourage further customer buying options. Additionally the product can manage special order requirements with estimates and delivery schedules as per customer requirements.

While CoreSense does not support all of these features, it does provide a product marketplace with certified partners to allow the addition of complementary functionality that customers may require.
