The software offers comprehensive identity management with centralized management of users from multiple directories. This is done through a single administrative consol which can be monitored from one location. Application permissions can also be managed from the same console. It also offers single sign-on for multiple accounts and connectors for LDAP, Directory Server, eDirectory, and other systems. Switching can be done between directories without having any impact on the applications.Crowd offers mapping of different combination of directories to a single application and streamlines group memberships. User aliases can also be created to be used in different applications. Other important features include user migration from Altassian applications into Crowd and useful add-ons.
