Some of the main competitors for Denali Business Accounting include Financial Management Suite and Xledger.

Financial Management Suite is a cloud based solution which provides core accounting features such as general ledger, receivables & payables, as well as cash management. Additional options include fixed assets accounting, tax management & revenue control, with employee portals to manage work time reporting as well as expenses & claims. There is also an option to integrate with payroll to handle employee compensation, with a development tool for product customization requirements.

Denali Business Accounting on the other hand also provides and accounting solution, but it is modular so companies can choose packages based on the suite of features they need to run their operations. The product is available as an on premise solution, but can be provided as a hosted solution as well through a third party service provider.

In comparison Xledger while addressing the core accounting features, also includes project and resource accounting & costing as well. It is also able to integrate with many other third party applications utilizing its open API, and has its own reporting system with dashboards to monitor financial KPIs and performance. Additional options include customer & supplier management to handle sales & service financial requirements as well.

While Denali Business Accounting does not support all of these features currently, it does provide additional modules for point of sales and payroll if required. Additionally the product utilizes Crystal Reports for all of its financial reporting requirements.
