What is Deskun?

Deskun is a multichannel helpdesk system. It is a Google Chrome extension that enables to combine multiple communication channels and process customer requests inside Gmail or G Suite interface. The channels available are as follows:

Live chat on a website
Messengers: Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Telegram, Viber, Skype and VK.com
Any e-mail

Firstly the product was designed for personal task management needs of developers, then it was decided to make the product commercial. Deskun main objective is to help startups, small and medium businesses to process customer requests quickly and effective, and also organize their tasks neatly between departments and employees.

Deskun is ideally suited for small businesses, startups and freelancers, and also can be used by medium-sized companies in different industries. Companies that use Deskun usually have a stable flow of incoming client queries across different communication channels, or a team they need to set tasks to.

Main features and functionalities

Deskun works inside familiar Gmail interface, changing it slightly by adding new properties to regular emails (they are called “tickets” here), and creating new folders (they are called “channels” here).

With Deskun, it is possible to add a live chat widget to a website, customize its appearance, position on the page and welcome message for customers. Messages from live chat are processed inside familiar Gmail interface. To effectively communicate with clients via live chat, Deskun has customizable message templates, internal notes, sound notifications and much more. Also, based on the chat dialog, support agents can create tickets – tasks for other employees.

Deskun brings together the most popular instant messengers, so businesses will not miss a single message from customers. Communities on Facebook, Twitter accounts, Telegram, Viber and Skype bots – all these channels can be added to Deskun in a few clicks. All incoming messages are also processed inside Gmail interface.

Also, Deskun enabled to use any e-mail address for customer support. There are such handy features as automatic reply, common e-mail address for agents, behind-the-scenes collaboration with notes, collision detection, e-mail tracking and much more.

The other option is to assign tasks to the employees. Each task can have the same properties as customer requests. In Deskun you can make different channels for company departments, delegate tasks between employees and overview their implementation.
