What is DocMeIn?
DocMeIn is a free cloud-based service for small healthcare providers for online patient appointments. Individual doctor’s and associated medical professionals can use this software for their patient’s appointment needs. There is no limit to the number of patients a doctor can have. There are no limits to the number of appointments and reminders. There is also no limit to recalls or cancellation. As a free software, it has no setup free, no monthly fee, and no software to be installed. The software includes a reminder system which sends a notification via email, phone or SMS. The center of the system is the Calendar interface. Appointment schedules can be easily seen with the Calendar view. It has a point-and-click interface, with customizable color coding of items. Users can drag and drop items on the calendar to reschedule appointments and notify other patients of changes if they are affected by any scheduling changes. Appointments are sent notifications which are in a machine readable format. This allows clients to add their appointment to their own calendars very easily without need to re-encode the appointment.
