Competitors & Alternatives
The competitors for EMaint X4 include Maintenance Connection and Real Asset Management CMMS.Maintenance Connection focuses on the management of the full maintenance lifecycle. The product includes a maintenance operations work center which includes work order management & service technician allocation, repairs & cost management, spare parts inventory & purchasing as well as preventive maintenance scheduling. Additionally if the service cannot be handled internally it can also interface with external service agents to handle any required work.
Emaint X4 on the other hand provides a similar cloud based solution that in addition to preventive maintenance also includes predictive maintenance. This is based on condition based analysis of assets based on historical analysis to schedule proactive maintenance requests so as to reduce unplanned downtimes. Additionally the product offers maintenance managers a Hub feature wherein they can unify all maintenance operations in one portal which they can easily modify to meet their requirements.
Real Asset Management CMMS on the hand provides a help desk to track work order status. Additionally the product supports reactive maintenance in which planning is done for unexpected stoppages to ensure there is a quick response to minimize the time needed to restore operations. It also includes service level agreements which establish clear metrics to measure maintenance performance.
While Emaint X4 does not fully support these features it does include support for mobile device access of the application. This is beneficial for both work order management for remote technicians as well as real-time tracking of spare parts inventory in line with service needs.
