Fieldaware vs. Alternatives in 2023

The main competitors for Fieldaware are FieldAware and FieldOne Sky.

FieldAware is a cloud based field service management software that includes work order estimation & quotes, scheduling & dispatching of technicians as well as invoicing. There are self service portals for customers to raise issues and track progress. Additionally the product supports mobile access for field engineers and an API to integrate with other applications.

Fieldaware on the other hand provides a cloud based solution which is modular and supports a service oriented architecture. It can address similar core areas, but also includes the option to accept payments on-site via mobiles. There is also a unified price book for all service & products to help in correct estimation and technicians can utilize a mobile app to log time & attendance for all service jobs.

Then there is FieldOne Sky which provides some alternate features such a spare parts inventory management system along with an integrated knowledge base for reference of product specifications, typical issues and certified solutions. There is also a CRM module to manage both prospects and existing customers, and the product can track product warranties & service agreements to determine the type and level of support to be provided to customers.

While Fieldaware does not support all of these features currently, it does include a suite of real-time executive dashboards to monitor field service operations & performance against defined KPIs. Additionally it has a marketing module to develop new leads, conduct campaigns with existing customers, as well as surveys to review customer satisfaction with field service offerings.
