FileWave is a mobile device and client management solution for businesses of all sizes. It also offers such capabilities as distribution management, parameterized profile management, self service portal, and others. The software was designed and launched by FileWave headquartered in Switzerland.

Main features and functionalities

The software features app deployment management and profile management through secure settings and configurations. Important services include data encryption and password protection, remote wiping of data from lost and stolen devices, injection of network settings, customized configuration, and email configuration etc. It offers profile editor which can be used to create profiles and make associations for iOS devices.

FileWave can work with the existing mobile management infrastructure of the company and offers seamless integration with Active Directory, Open Directory, and E-directory. Upon enrollment, devices are automatically aligned with their respective groups. Clients have complete access to important device information such as device name, serial number, OS version, MDM enrollment information, application deployment status, and MAC address of the device.
