FME is a cloud-based as well as on-premise data transformation and business intelligence software. FME offers services including but not limited to spatial analysis, image exploring, and labeling. The software has data importing and exporting feature that allows sharing of data or fetching from other applications.

With the comprehension data conversion feature, data can be converted from one format to another allowed format given the software supports over 235 formats. FME is a product of Safe Software which is a Canadian based company that was founded in 1993 which started out helping forestry companies exchange maps and has been growing ever since.
