FreeAgent is an accounting software based on the cloud designed for micro businesses and freelancers. It was developed by a privately owned software company called FreeAgent Central Ltd. The company is currently based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

FreeAgent is a creation of Roan Lavery, Olly Headey, Ed Molyneux who launched it in 2007.
