Genesis Software Systems, the company behind Genesis Advantage, was founded by Gary Sauther back in the mid 1980’s. Most of their furniture solutions are easy to use, reliable and effective. The company created their first Windows based furniture system in 1997 and more than 700 furniture stores have found this solution very useful.

Starting from printing price tag to sales tracking, furniture retailers will find all the necessary features in this software. Users can get current inventory position reports almost instantly and drill down the reports to get access to deeper levels of information. The ordering process is done automatically to help users keep track of the items in stock. Other necessary inventory related features are: bar coding, open to buy forecasting, old stock reporting and lay away manager.

The furniture solution offers delivery scheduling, scanning, inventory management and POS features. There is also a research tool to help users know about a customer almost instantly. Users can also buy portable mini bar code scanners with the software. The import wizard of Genesis Advantage makes sure that you are not entering anything twice and supports importing inventory items from almost any source possible. Other notable features are point-of-sale demographics, price point reporting, price performer reports and sliding scale commission plans.
