Genesis Advantage is a furniture retail system with inventory management and tracking, ordering and sales tracking features. The Windows-based software can help users to reduce inventory, boost sales, improve productivity and help users to make informed, better decisions. The system is modular based and is highly scalable and flexible.

Genesis Software Systems, the company behind Genesis Advantage, was founded by Gary Sauther back in the mid 1980’s. Most of their furniture solutions are easy to use, reliable and effective. The company created their first Windows based furniture system in 1997 and more than 700 furniture stores have found this solution very useful.

Users can also buy portable mini bar code scanners with the software. The import wizard of Genesis Advantage makes sure that you are not entering anything twice and supports importing inventory items from almost any source possible. Other notable features are point-of-sale demographics, price point reporting, price performer reports and sliding scale commission plans.

There is also an integrated CRM to handle customers and manage loyalty programs, along with a distribution module to address incoming & outgoing shipments.

Genesis Advantage on the other hand addresses the same sector with a solution that is available as an on premise application. While it includes many of the features of Storis Furniture Retail Software it also provides options for special order requirements. This include visual product displays that be configured in real-time to match customer requirements, along with online portals for customer review and approval. Other features include sales forecasting, business analytics & dashboards, as well as customer order scheduling & delivery.
