What is Harris Symphony?
Harris Symphony is a cloud-based aviation maintenance software designed to deliver an integrated aviation management platform to airport operators. The software comes with features such as:- Airfield Portal: This feature is a highly configurable and customizable solution that provides a centralized access point for the L3Harris Symphony, airport, and third-party apps, as well as a single platform for airport operational status dashboards and communication among airport stakeholders.
- Vehicle Movement Area Transponder (VMAT): VMAT provides an accurate perspective of the whole surface condition to air traffic controllers, vehicle operators, and airport operations centers, boosting collaboration, safety, efficiency, and minimizing runway incursions.
- MobileVue: This feature offers airports a situational awareness display system that readily interfaces with current mobile displays to present real-time aircraft and vehicle surveillance data on portable devices.
- GateVue: This function provides optimization, increasing efficiency and decreasing airport congestion. Airports can use GateVue to increase the number of planes that can be serviced during peak hours while reducing the impact of irregular operations such as cancellations and delays.
- Airfield Radar System (ARS): This feature provides cutting-edge security for the whole Airfield, not just the perimeter. Symphony ARS, which is available at a fraction of the cost of typical radar technology, can cover up to a mile in all directions. This technology enhances the situational awareness and efficiency of airport security and operations staff.
