Denticon also offers an on-premises Desktop version. However, you need to update the system manually for updates. iDentalSoft does not offer customization. Also, you cannot access 3D images through iDentalSoft, which gives Denticon an edge over iDentalSoft.
Dentimax Dental Software is also a cloud-based dental practice management software offering similar features as iDentalSoft. However, Dentimax is not limited to USA dental clinics. Dentimax is used worldwide, including in Canada and Dubai.
ADSTRA dental software is an on-premises dental practice management software deployed on the cloud. You can use ADSTRA dental software from any device, including Blackberry, Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. The features include patient care, practice administration, digital imaging, referral reports, treatment notes, medication prescriptions, and document organizations.
In addition, image annotation tools and image enhancement tools in ADSTRA give it an edge over iDentalSoft. However, the communication channels for patient-doctor communication are limited in ADSTRA. - Pricing:
The price of ADSTRA dental software starts at $84.00 per feature per month. ADSTRA does not provide any free version for the users. The price of Denticon is around $299 per month. Denticon does not have a free version, but it does offer a free trial for the dental businesses.
The cost of Dentimax costs around $139 per month per location with limited features. To get the complete feature set of Dentimax, you need to pay an additional $159 to get all their features. As compared to iDentalSoft, all three software are lesser in cost and offer similar features as iDentalSoft. - Support: iDentalSoft, Denticon, and Dentimax offer complete support, including chat, phone support, and a knowledge base. Moreover, they also have various training modules, including in-person training. Where iDentalSoft is used?
No doubt, iDentalSoft offers all significant features helpful for dental practice management. However, it is a little pricey as compared to the alternatives. Dentimax and Denticon pose tough competition to iDentalSoft at a lower price. However, iDentalSoft offers multiple ways for patient and dental practitioner communication. iDentalSoft also does not have an on-premises setup. The device support is also minimal. Given the alternatives, iDentalSoft has a long way to meet customer needs at justified pricing based on features.List of categories
