ifaEMR is cloud-based Meaningful Use electronic health record (EHR) solution designed for ophthalmologists. The solution helps the user manage their daily workflow. It offers customized templates for different ophthalmic subspecialties including retina, cornea, pediatrics, oculoplastics, and ophthalmology and more.

Some of its core features include EMR, reporting and charting and more. The smart screen user interface enables the user to minimize the duplicate data entry. The solution offers defined fields that are associated with one another to prevent the forms from having errors.

Patient manager feature enables the user to access the whole medical record from the menu screen. It also has two image applications that include eyedraw for pre-built templates and scratchpad for sketches.

The graphic trend reports help give the user a visual representation of the progress of the patient over time. It meets the eRX ECPS certification standards. It offers support via email, telephone, and online support.

The software also offers data visualization, patient progress tracking, and HIPAA compliance etc.

The two main competitors of ifaEMR include MaximEyes and Blink. MaximEyes is cloud-based optometry solution just like ifaEMR. MaximEyes is a product of First Insight which was founded in 1994 and based in the United States whereas ifaEMR is a product of ifa Systems formerly ifa United I-Tech which was based in Germany.

MaximEyes offers support online and during the business hours while ifaEMR offers support online. MaximEyes offers training via documentation, webinars, live online and in-person, and on the other hand, ifaEMR offers training live-online.

Both Blink and ifaEMR cloud-based optometry solution that offers appointment management, insurance management, and patient records and more. Blink is a product of GenerationNET which was founded in 2003 and based in the United Kingdom while ifaEMR is a product of ifa Systems formerly ifa United I-Tech which was based in Germany.
