iOFFICE vs. Alternatives in 2024

IOffice is a facility management solution focused on the office workplace. It has a number of competitors such as Micromain Facility Management which is a drawing based tool and includes a free trial of the product.

It has two main features with the first one being space management & allocation wherein detailed drawings can be accessed to determine asset and resource space requirements & current occupation. Additionally the software also handles the planning & management of moves between different facilities or offices by comparing facility diagrams, identifying & mapping the best locations, and then providing detailed moving plans.

IOffice on the other hand in addition to these features can also manage assets, inventory, physical files & electronic documentation, mailrooms as well as facility visitors. It is also modular so customers can choose the application they require for their current business needs, and include other modules at a later stage if the requirements change. IOffice also includes a free trial of its products.

Another competitor is Emaint X3 which provides facility management as part of its maintenance software portfolio of solutions. It does not focus exclusively on offices as does IOffice, but includes all types of facilities. Its features include work order request & scheduling, asset history & maintenance, as well as facility maintenance planning & scheduling.

Additionally the Emaint X3 is available solely as a cloud based solution. In comparison IOffice is a hybrid solution with some modules being deployed as a cloud based solution, but certain other modules requiring on site hardware and on premise software as well for installation.
