The main competitors for JDE EnterpriseOne Asset Management are SAP EAM and Infor EAM.

SAP EAM handles capital asset operations which includes support for both preventive & corrective maintenance with a focus on minimizing down time and maximizing asset utilization. The product also handles environmental and health & safety requirements to address asset risk management, as well as looks at energy optimization strategies for better environmental planning. There is also support for quality compliance and business intelligence tools to monitor asset performance & utilization.

JDE EnterpriseOne Asset Management from Oracle in comparison provides additional features such as asset purchase & inventory management, service & warranty tracking and workflow automation. The product also includes resource allocation for asset maintenance with time & expense management as well. There is also a failure analysis module to build best practices for future forecasting to prevent repeatable problems.

Infor EAM on the other hand focuses on strategic planning to map asset performance to support organizational strategic objectives. Additionally there is an advanced risk management module which is used to review asset maintenance history and predict future failures. This information is then used to better forecast maintenance requirements and plan for recovery options in the case of unplanned downtime. There is also a module to track energy emissions so as to optimize utilization and reduce costs.

While JDE EnterpriseOne Asset Management does not currently support these features, it does provide an option to manage facilities, real estate and land as well. Additionally it supports condition based maintenance which automatically triggers maintenance work based on pre-defined rules.
