The project management module of the software offers the features of change orders, cost management, daily log, document and equipment management, procurement, punch list, scheduling, and timecard.

Under the estimating module, you can benefit from the features of conceptual estimates, cost database, and item list. The accounting module offers extensive accounting features including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, general ledger, job costing, inventory management, payroll processing, and purchase orders.

The service management module of JOBPOWER offers two important features of purchasing and work orders. The software offers integration with Microsoft Excel and Word. Additional accounting features include custom dashboard and sync frequency definition.

The dashboards offered by JOBPOWER allow you to have a visual and numerical overview of jobs and various other financial aspects such as payables and receivables. Additionally, you also have the option of customizing the cost categories.

Who are their main alternatives?

Two important competitors of JOBPOWER in the domain of construction management solutions are HCSS Equipment360 and Maxwell Systems ProContractorMX. HCSS Equipment360, just like JOBPOWER, is aimed at small and medium businesses. However, it only offers four instead of five modules.

HCSS Equipment360 does not offer any separate module for estimating. It also offers somewhat limited feature set compared to JOBPOWER. Project management module features that are offered by JOBPOWER but not by HCSS software include change orders, daily log, procurement, punch list, and scheduling.

The other competitor, Maxwell Systems ProContractorMX, is suitable for all business sizes and thus offers a richer feature set compared to both JOBPOWER and HCSS Equipment360. Bidding is the only additional management feature on Maxwell Systems that is not available on JOBPOWER.

Maxwell Systems also offers wider integration capabilities compared to JOBPOWER. Integration with Microsoft Excel and Word is common between the two solutions, but Maxwell Systems also offers additional integration with Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word, Primavera, and QuickBooks.
