Kronos offers automated time and attendance feature that strives to reduce labour costs and manual work. Labour intensive tracking, data entry are some of the work process that Kronos simplifies. Users can chose the data capture option available to feed the system whether it is fixed amount time-clock, mobile application or a telephonic system. Scheduling and Absence management are some of the other features that Kronos offers to organisations.

Additionally it offers options to handle employee recruitment and payroll services, with self service portals for employees and business analytic tools as well.

Kronos Workforce Central on the other hand focuses on workforce management but includes many of the same features. The product however also includes an option for employee scheduling & costing to optimize resource allocation across the organization. Another feature is its Talent Acquisition module to handle recruitment requirements as well.

Another similar solution is that provided by Orange HRM which in addition to core HR features also includes a document management system with templates which can be used for common HR activities.
