Who are their main alternatives?
Achievers provides a collaboration platform for employees and managers to share information about outstanding work, contributions as well as capabilities. All business initiatives are tied to corporate objectives with employees’ work being identified for best alignment with strategic goals. Recognition can be given by peers and superiors, with badges for superior performance, and rewards that include options for redemption from a large partner network or via a prepaid visa card as well.
Kudos on the other hand also provides an employee recognition platform with a number of similar features of Achievers. However the product includes endorsements by internal peers & managers, as well as by external customers. While it also has a collaboration platform, there are additional options for feedback, comments and announcements to improve engagement and recognition. Additionally the product is web based and accessible via mobile devices as well.
Then there is WooBoard which provides points based recognition systems that targets rewards based on task completion and target achievement. The product also utilizes gamification to encourage participation, social collaboration and team competition to improve performance while ensuring objectives are met. Employee recognition programs can also be customized to meet branding and business requirements with event based triggers to automate reward assignments.
While Kudos does not support these options currently it does offer integration with leading social media for greater social recognition. Additionally the product has business analytic tools with dashboards to track employee performance trends and identify the most effective rewards based programs.
