Our Veredict

Although LearnUpon LMS does not give licensing cost information, as noted before in the cost part of this review. However, our research shows that the program is pricier compared to the alternatives mentioned. Start-ups and developing businesses needing basic learning management tools with a small number of users but limited by a small budget would find 360Learning and TalentLMS a good fit.

In terms of additional fees, LearnUpon LMS does not have additional cost. However, Pluralsight Skills charges a separate fee for its Professional and Enterprise programs. Tovuti LMS charges a setup fee for each of its four price tiers. LearnUpon, 360Learning and TalentLMS are two solutions to explore if you want to avoid extra costs.

In terms of functionality, LearnUpon starter plan (for 50 to 150 users) has more per plan than TalentLMS (6-40 users). It includes features like Gamification, eCommerce, Custom Branding, and others TalentLMS does not provide.

Pluralsight Skills, although missing most of the capabilities offered by LearnUpon starter plan, includes features such as Skill & Role Assessments and Curated Learning Paths & Channels on its starter plan, which are also absent on LearnUpon starter plan.

Even though the cost for LearnUpon LMS is deemed high, it provides premium features that fit its price and are not readily found on some of the less pricey listed competitors.
