LiquidPlanner Alternatives

The main competitors for LiquidPlanner are Clarizen and Mavenlink.

Clarizen provides a cloud based solution for project management which can address the needs of a project management office, professional services teams, application development and marketing project teams. The product allows resources to have remote access via mobile devices, customization for project workflows, and integration to other applications using its open APIs. Features include project & resource planning, budgeting, task and ticket management, time management as well as collaboration tools.

LiquidPlanner on the other hand addresses similar types of project teams with the same core project management features. Its additional options include schedules that update automatically based on changed priorities, as well as scenario modeling to determine project completion dates. There are also analytic tools for project & resource performance tracking, with baseline reporting to compare status over multiple periods.

Then there is Mavenlink which provides a project management best practices repository to improve service delivery, as well as provides a configurable rate manual to define service charges for all project tasks. Additionally the product integrates with Google Apps for productivity tools, and includes time & expense management to approve project related costs & activities. The product is also provided as a cloud based solution and includes portfolio management to handle multiple inter-related projects.

LiquidPlanner does not address these features but includes options for onboarding for new project staff, and integration with online storage sites Google Drive, Dropbox and Box for project information. Additionally there is a certified integration with Salesforce to handle customer management, and basic product customization support as well.
