Brightly Software provides facility management solutions. It consists of three applications that cover work orders, planned maintenance and wireless work orders.

Facility Dude was founded in 2007 and provides solutions for maintenance, energy and inventory management. The company’s goal is to develop software that helps businesses to increase efficiency, save money, and reduce utility consumption.

Brightly Software is a cross industry product that addresses sectors such as healthcare, local government, clubs, property management, retail and food & beverage. It is a scalable product that can address any organization size and is offered as cloud based solution with a SaaS delivery model.

The solution is suited for property owners, service providers and other organizations that are involved in facilities management who need to give their maintenance team accurate real time information. This will help them to improve work productivity & scheduling and improve customer service, while extending the facility’s lifecycle and lower operating costs.

In addition as the product is a cloud based solution, it enables companies to keeps track of issues, deliver reports & status automatically, as well as manage remote personnel easily. Plus Brightly Software is a provided as a SaaS delivery model which means there is no technology investment or maintenance required and costs are limited to a fixed monthly subscription fee based on usage. This is a good option for companies looking for a solution that both improves efficiency and productivity, but is also cost effective at the same time.

Main features and functionalities

The Work Order module focuses on efficient workflow management. This includes receiving & assigning work requests, scheduling & managing service technicians, as well as recording service costs, job updates and measuring performance. There is support for rule based automated approvals & work order routing, as well as automated communication with customers to keep them updated on work order status.

Brightly Software also supports wireless access of the Work Order management module by mobile devices such as smart phones. This is beneficial for field personnel as they can receive work assignments, record work hours and inventory requirements, as well as report status and closure. This information is updated into the Work Order system in real time and allows faster response times to customer requests, which improves both services & customer satisfaction.

There is also a Planned Maintenance module that allows for the creation and management of time based maintenance schedules, so that maintenance work orders can be generated and assigned automatically. This module is seamlessly integrated with the Work Order module so that accurate workload forecasts and cost estimation can be done. This is beneficial as companies will then be able to plan for routine & seasonal maintenance effectively thereby extending equipment lifecycles and reducing unplanned maintenance costs.
