Millennium vs. Alternatives in 2023

Millenium can count on two main competitors that include DonorVision and eTapestry.

DonorVision supports both fundraising and financial management for this sector. There is a free product trial for nonprofits and it can be easily integrated to Microsoft Office 365 as it is built on the same platform. Additionally it provides a constituent management module which is modeled on a CRM which can be used to analyze current donors for their donation history, types of donations and causes to determine better targeted campaigns to improved donation frequency.

In comparison Millenium has been developed to act as a donor relationship management system for non profits. Its features include customer engagement programs, activity analysis with flexible reporting options, custom marketing campaigns and a visual analyzer to better monitor donor giving trends. Additionally this product can integrate to a fund raising module to handle the details of fund raising such as event management.

eTapestry on the other hand focuses on grading donors to evaluate the best ones to mine for a given fundraising activity. This is done by evaluating position, donation capacity & history, as well as types of giving preferred to develop a donor health scorecard. eTapestry then uses this scorecard to better determine which campaigns are suited for certain donors so that it can target them for better donation realization.

Millenium does not formulate these kinds of donor health score cards but does allow real-time donation analysis to segment donors based on campaign requirements. Additionally it provides workflow automation so that donor management can be structured according to fundraising priorities.
