MPulse vs. Alternatives in 2024

The major competitors for MPulse are NetFacilities CMMS and Maintenance 5000.

NetFacilities CMMS is available as a cloud based system which provides an enterprise asset maintenance management solution. Its features include work order management, asset preventive maintenance review & scheduling, as well as vendor management to source equipment spare parts. The product also supports both internal maintenance teams as well as external maintenance companies based on equipment service contracts.

MPulse on the other hand is a hosted application with mobility solution support. However while it includes the core features of NetFacilities CMMS it also provides options for employee management to track skills & competency requirements. This helps in better scheduling based on work order requirements, as well allows for proactive training to improve knowledge and work abilities. There is also a document management system to link all product technical information utilizing voice & video to allow richer media content and more effective response to technician queries.

Then there is Maintenance 5000 which supports a number of the features of MPulse, but its documentation system also includes warranty & maintenance contracts, as well as service level agreements which establish important KPIs by which to evaluate service delivery. The product also has a help desk to manage work order requests and status monitoring, with support for disaster recovery procedures to address unplanned equipment stoppages.

While MPulse does not support all of these features, it does include workflow automation as well as asset budgeting & cost analysis. There is also support for condition based maintenance which is triggered automatically based on defined events being completed.
