NetSuite is a cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and business management software created for small to medium business sizes. It has inventory management, financial management, fixed assets, order management, revenue management, and billing features. It also included role-specific performance management function for the organization’s highest to lowest positions.

NetSuite was developed by Oracle NetSuite Global Business Unit which pioneered cloud computing revolution. It was founded in 1998, located in Redwood Shores and has up to 5,000 employees.

This solution is used by businesses from various industries including software, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail and services. NetSuite ERP includes many features that make it a very worthy investment for any type of organization, inclusing accounting functionality, ERP, inventory and order management. It allows convenient and easy management of resources, revenue, expenses, budget and employees, as well as improving sales as it automates billing and collections.

NetSuite ERP Alternatives

JobBOSS is on-cloud or on-premise ERP for small to medium enterprises at the same cost range as NetSuite. NetSuite offers more mobility control than JobBoss since NetSuite is also available as iPhone, Android, and Windows app. NetSuite also has better support than JobBOSS which only has phone and online support whereas NetSuite has an additional knowledge base and video tutorials.

NetSuite has more ERP features than JobBOSS like audit trail, cash flow management, quote management and more. Both have excellent customer reviews online but NetSuite is a better option than JobBOSS as all-inclusive ERP.

ERPAG can be a cheaper ($49/month) alternative NetSuite. It has the same client size as NetSuite. ERPAG offers a free trial, unlike NetSuite. When platforms supported are being compared, ERPAG is only web-based and available as Android App whereas NetSuite can be accessed via the web, iPhone, Windows, and Android App.

Both softwares offer almost the same ERPAG features but NetSuite does not have cost estimating, delivery tracking, and label printing while ERPAG has no automated scheduling and activity dashboard. Both have excellent vendor reputation but ERPAG is more economical and can offer the same ERP services like NetSuite.

NetSuite ERP Pricing Information

NetSuite pricing is $499.00 per month plus $99 per additional user. It has an Accounting System which includes order-to-cash, audit trail visibility, and tax management features. Its Fixed Management enables users to manage workflow and forward fixed asset roll. Payment Management has flexible payment acceptance and processing.

It also has Demand Planning features like supply chain intelligence with MRP, gross requirements inquiry, and demand planning engine. It also control and warehouse management. It has manufacturing functions like product costing, material billing, shop floor management, and resource planning.

Its billing management and invoicing functions can create flexible billing scheduling, manage shipping and fulfillment, and has revenue recognition, human capital, incentive compensation, and recurring revenue management. NetSuite pricing is below the average cost of an ERP system.
