What is People-Trak?

People-Trak is a HRMS software that offers a comprehensive suite of workforce management and HR management solutions to companies, worldwide. It offers core HR features including Personnel Tracking, Benefits Administration, Applicant Tracking, Employee Evaluation, Time and Attendance Modules; among others.

People-Trak was founded in 1992 to develop Human Resource Information System. Since its launch, People-Trak has delivered efficient human resource management tools and solutions to companies across various industries.

Who is it best for?

People-Trak offers SQL-based solutions to companies of all kinds and sizes. It targets small, medium and large enterprises. Small businesses here mean companies having minimum 50 employees in their company. People-Trak would not be an ideal choice for companies having less than 50 employees working under it. People-Trak offers solution to all kinds of industries.

Insight Hotel Management group and Concept Packaging Group are some of the customers that People-Trak has today. People-Trak also offers small-budget specific solutions to companies.

Main features and functionalities

People-Trak offers companies a comprehensive suite of workforce management tools. It provides users with features like Personnel management where it collects employee information which allows you to quickly manage your employees. This module provides with extensive contact information, EEO reports, Emergency contacts and flexible status tracking of employees. Another module is Time and Attendance that provides accurate information to users regarding employee time-off. It provides unlimited number of user-defined attendance accounts enabling users to customise it in accordance with their companies’ respective time needs.

People-Trak has Safety Management module as well that provides users with accident/incident reports. This allows users to create government compliance reports and documents including OSHA 300, OSHA 300A and OSHA 301 reports. The module also keeps a track on employee’s compensation details, costs for rehabilitation, liability and medical; among others. Performance Management modules keep a record of performance review process in documented form and stores the information centrally.

It also keeps Future Performance reviews where next reviews are displayed for regular views. Among other modules, People-Trak offers Compensation History, Training Administration, Position Control and COBRA Administration.

Price – Pricing of $19.95 per employee and minimum purchase of 50 active employee records. No monthly fees as everything is a one-time license.

• People-Trak provides unlimited number of user-defined attendance accounts regardless of the pricing option.

Cons

• People-Trak does not support companies having less than 50 employees.
• A major minus point is that the deployment model is not SaaS based, posing a difficulty to many marketers.
• People-Trak lacks Development tracking and Onboarding feature.
• People-Trak does not support Linux, Mac as its platform not is online based – even though many businesses use Mac today.
