The software was originally created in 2009 for a Montreal-based technology incubator called Bolidea. It is now available to the public as a web hosted application.
Currently Planbox has about 32,000 customers ranging from small businesses to large enterprises. It's been used in education and certain non-profit organizations. Notable customers are Stanford University, Philips, Blatant Media, Petflow, Real Media, CGI, Micheal J Fox Foundation and The Salvation Army.
This Agile tool is also perfect for real-time team collaboration. Its interface is intuitive with a drag-and-drop dashboard that allows users to filter through and find out what items need to be prioritized. On top of that Planbox integrates other important applications like Zendesk for customer support and UserVoice for bug tracking. It is for sure a software that business owners would find very useful
