PracticePanther Monthly Pricing Plans

Prices and Plans Compared

The Solo plan offers basic legal software features but misses important features like Negative eSignature, which ensures that legal documents can be electronically signed, stored, and shared. This feature is just one of the numerous important features missing from the Solo plan compared to the Essential and Business plans.

Even though the Essential plan lacks the Negative eSignature mentioned above, it has some additional features like Check Printing. This feature allows medium sized law firms to print checks and deposit slips from QuickBooks and PracticePanther to pay other legal vendors.

Some other additional features include Task & Event Workflows, Trust Account Ledger & Reconciliation.

The Business plan has all features of the Solo and Essential plans with extra features like the Attorney Revenue Report that indicates how much each attorney has collected. Also, with the Business plan, firms can access all available PracticePanther integrations and are offered VIP support, Data Migration, and Website Integration services.

Which Plan Is Right for You?

PracticePanther is fit for law firms or  solo Practitioners that need specific features. Looking at the pricing plans, if your firm is more focused on automation, you will find the Business plan fit because it is heavy on automation features.

On another note, if your firm offers a recurring payment option for your clients, then the Essential plan will be best to choose from (aside from other Essential plan features and if you do not need other Business plan features). The Solo plan fits if your firm is looking for basic legal software features like Internal Chat and Contact & Matter Management, among others.

Our Veredict

PracticePanther is a top consideration among other legal practice management solutions, as per user reviews. The PracticePanther software is average-priced compared to its alternatives. However, if you are looking for legal management software to save on extra charges, then PracticePanther pricing model should fit.

For example, While PracticePanther does not have additional costs aside from the license plans, Clio has a +$399 one-time account setup fee, CosmoLex has a $399 one-time setup fee, among other extra charges, and SmokeBall has an onboarding and data migration fee. This means that in terms of charges, PracticePanther edges its competitors in our opinion.

For the features per plan, the PracticePanther Check Printing feature is unique and not found in other mentioned alternatives. In contrast, the AI-enabled OCR feature available on Zola Suite allows car plate numbers, street signs, Paragraph text, and handwritten texts to be read is missing from all other systems.

Aside from the unique feature of Zola Suite, the legal management systems are equally matched in terms of features.
