Project Drive vs. Alternatives in 2024

JobTrac is project management software that includes project & resource scheduling, payment processing, labor costing & forecasting, as well as expense management and historical job costing for proper project billing estimation. The software includes a document management system for storage of all related project information, including documentation on project change requests and contract updates. The solution is currently only available as an on premise solution.

Project Drive on the other hand offers a free trial of its product, is available as an on premise and cloud based solution, and is scalable for any size of business. Additionally the product is available as a limited features Lite version, as well as a Full featured version which can be chosen based on the project requirements. The software also allows users to completely customize the product according to business requirements, and includes a collaboration workspace for the project manager to share project information and track updates with team members.

Then there is KeyedIn Projects which is focused on SMEs and is available as a cloud based solution and as an on premise solution. It includes resource allocation & scheduling, budgeting & reporting, with project tracking & billing, as well as live dashboards to review project performance. KeyedIn Projects does provide limited integration to some third party products; however Project Drive currently does not include an API for software integration.

Also it must be noted that Project Drive has a well established reporting system that includes scheduled and customizable reports, with dashboards and project health reports. The goal of this being to provide real time data to project managers so that they can effectively monitor project performance and proactively address problems.
