Who are their main alternatives?

ShoreTel top competitors are CDW, Avaya, and Actel Communication.
  • Functionality: CDW is yet another vendor of technological products like hardware, software, security systems, and services for businesses, the education, and the government sectors. It belongs to the Fortune 500 group of companies operating in the USA, UK, and Canada. Avaya is an organization that offers telecommunications solutions and digital products for communication needs with smooth integration and fast transmission.

They earned the UC Award for "Best Use for AI" for their solution "Avaya Spaces" in 2021. CDW has different modes of operations for all its distinct products, and Avaya works mainly as a cloud-based platform and offers uninterrupted communications. Actel Communication is the leading telecommunication engineering service.

Its features include a low current solution, two-way radio system, wireless solutions, managed services, and FTTX. As compared to ShoreTel, Actel is quite ahead in its functionalities.
  • Level of Services: ShoreTel has a limited number of hardware solutions merged into their communications system. In contrast, CDW provides a much larger array of services and products - from simple hardware accessories like cables and modems to sophisticated software, distinct for all kinds of usage domains such as graphic design and utility management.

On the other hand, Avaya offers software solutions in a range of varieties, such as mobile subscriptions to their One Cloud services, IT solutions for healthcare providers and payers in the healthcare industry, and other business needs. Actel communication services include dedicative services for its clients. They aim to provide uninterrupted mobile and content services. It is the high-performance station base that deals with all the unforeseen circumstances.
  • Support: ShoreTel offers round-the-clock chat support, as well as email support. CDW has different sections of chat support for different domains of queries such as sales, technical support, management support, etc. They only provide support during business hours, as does Avaya. Avaya also has an email and phone number available to contact for their sales and support queries. Separate numbers are given for their worldwide office locations such as the UAE, USA, etc., and different people are concerned with their media, sales, and investment domains. Actel Communication has not any special customer support as it only has a given contact number, so definitely ShoreTel leads the role here.
