The software is divided into three modules of vehicle management, fuel management, and driver management. Its vehicle management services include GPS tracking, idle status monitoring, speed tracking, and vehicle mileage monitoring. The software focuses on reducing the idle time and thus saving the labor and fuel costs. It also offers mapping and special clustering services.

In case of maintenance problems of vehicles, the software generates timely alerts. For driver management, it offers the services of closest driver tracking and speed violations tracking. Two fuel management features of the software are fuel card integration and fuel spending reports. Other services include driver scorecards, automated reports, weather data, and inventory monitoring.

TMT Fleet Maintenance is a fleet management solution that is scalable for any size of business and is provided as an on premise, hosted, as well as a cloud based solution. Its features include warranty & asset management, inventory management, as well as integration to major fuel supply systems to track fuel utilization. There is also a module to manage the maintenance floor & service technicians, plan repairs, schedule work and cost management & forecasting as well. Finally TMT Fleet Maintenance allows integration to third party software as well as mobile dispatch systems to track fleet operations in the field.

Telogis Fleet on the other hand is both a fleet management & tracking software which uses GPS technology for this feature. It can track drivers’ location with real time map displays, weather & traffic patterns, fuel consumption as well as dashboards and alerts, for optimizing fleet movements and minimizing delay. A driver scorecard is also available to identity safe as well the most effective drivers in the fleet for suitable rewards. However this solution is only available as a cloud based offering, but it is scalable to any size of operation.
