HIBOUTIK Review

Hiboutik was created by the tech team of a fashion trademark. In the early 2000s, it was hard to find a POS solution to manage in the same place the sales in the stores and over the Internet. Our young dynamic team takes up the challenge and designs an efficient and easy to use tool to manage the business. Hiboutik POS software finds its roots in this project. Over the years, new features are added to the solution to make it even more complete. In 2012, we make the decision to create our own company to distribute the software. We named it Hiboutik, a French play on words mixing the owl (hibou) with the shop (boutique). Hiboutik works over Internet with a unique source code for all users. It allows us to save money for the distribution and maintenance operations. That’s why we distribute Hiboutik for free and we propose some optional premium extra-features. It is a win-win business model for us and all shopkeepers using our POS software. Hiboutik is one of the first free web-based point-of-sale solutions. With thousands registered accounts, Hiboutik is using the cloud Computing to roll out its service all over the world.
