In 2002, RT7 Incorporated began a 4 year R&D project that included the development of a complete web-based retail management application and integrated digital/print media message delivery platform. The idea, analyze the detailed information compiled during a purchase transaction and deliver to the customer the most appropriate digital message, on the customer display or the most appropriate printed offer, as part of the customerԳ sales receipt. In 2006, RT7 began testing its proprietary platform in several retail chains in Canada and in October 2007, after over 1 year of live testing and millions of transactions, RT7 began building its Canadian and US In-Store Digital Media Network. Today, RT7 Incorporated has 4 patents pending on its apparatus and methodology covering its In-Venue, Point of Sale Digital Media Delivery and print methodologies. Currently over 500 Point of Sale Terminals established in the Canadian and US Networks generate over 2 million unique and captive purchase transactions each month. National expansion is underway that will see the network grow to over 4,000 Terminals in 15 markets with over 30 million unique and captive purchase transactions each month.
