Additionally, Workday Adaptive planning allows businesses to engage their hiring, HR, and finance managers in the business plans.

In essence, it supports sharing of business plans among business leaders and managers while allowing other staff to give their opinions. Workday Adaptive Planning key features are; workforce modeling, financial close management, expense management, and balance sheet cash flow.

Workday Adaptive Planning was originally known as Adaptive Insights Business Planning Cloud, but Workday was acquired in 2018, hence, its new name. Workday is a public company founded in 2005 and has its headquarters in Pleasanton, California, United States. The company has an employee size of over 10,000 persons. In 2019, Workforce Adaptive Planning received the CODiE Award for Best Financial Management Solution.
