eTime Xpress vs. Alternatives in 2024

Zeus time & attendance includes workflow management for absence and work scheduling, and has an attendance time planning module focused on project management & task completion. Zeus provides its own time registration devices for employee check in & check out, as well as allows remote employees to check in via the internet. Finally it also includes a unique web presence indicator that shows the actual attendance or absence of employees at any given time, and determines how their presence or absence is impacting project work.

eTime Xpress on the other hand provides options for both time & attendance and employee scheduling which Zeus time & attendance does not. The scheduling module allows the setting up of various business rules to ensure proper work allocation, determining resource utilization to develop labor budgets, as well as managing employee schedules in real time as required.

Then there is TimeForce which also provides both time & attendance solutions as well as time clocks. These include biometric readers & portable time clocks, as well as attendance authentication via remote mobile devices. eTime Xpress does not provide these options.

However TimeForce does have job costing and advanced scheduling which is similar to the scheduling functionality of eTime Xpress, but it also provides the facility to export its information to numerous third party payroll systems which is not fully supported by eTimeXpress.

Another important point is the eTime Xpress can be provided as both an on premise solution or as a cloud solution based on the customer requirements, whereas TimeForce is available as primarily a hosted cloud solution.
