Keas vs. Alternatives in 2024

Some of the important competitors for Keas are Health Enhancement Systems and Virgin Pulse.

Health Enhancement Systems incentivize healthier employees through gaming challenges and rewards. The product is social media enabled to build employee groups which can both encourage each other as well as compete with to achieve health goals. Additionally there are options to develop custom challenges & games centered on different health concerns such as fitness, nutrition and general well being with incentives & reward programs tied to gaming results.

Keas on the other hand is a cloud based application and can integrate with various systems and health monitoring devices to track achievements against goals. Additionally the product has a library of readymade challenges & games which employees can participate on their own, in teams or as part of a competition to meet health goals & rewards.

Then there is Virgin Pulse which is based on the same concepts as Keas, but provides an integrated platform to combine wellness programs, applications and tracking devices. The product includes social based gaming focused on program results, employee feedback, and challenges by using gaming mechanics to incentivize participation and encourage competitors. There is also support for coaching programs which tie game results to programs defined with trainers for which employees must meet various milestones.

While Keas does not support all of these features currently, it is integrated with social media and can be accessed through smart phones as well. Additionally there is an inbuilt CRM to monitor employees’ progress with options for quizzes and competitions that encourage heath based knowledge while rewarding star performers.
