Quick Bid vs. Alternatives in 2024

From the wide range of software solutions for construction business, two important competitors of Quick Bid are Prolog Construction Software and BuilderTREND Construction Software. Prolog regulates the same aspects of business as Quick Bids.

However, it offers a relatively richer feature set in all modules.
In the module of project management, Prolog offers the additional features of contract management, daily log, document and equipment management, punch list, and scheduling. All these features are absent from the project management module of Quick Bid. Additionally, Quick Bid also does not offer the module of service management which is present on Prolog.
Both Prolog and Quick Bid provide integration with the same applications of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.

BuilderTREND also offers wider range of features compared to Quick Bids. However, BuilderTREND does not offer the module of estimating which is present on Quick Bid. On the other hand, it offers additional project management features of document management, punch list and scheduling.

Similarly, the accounting module of Quick Bid only offers the feature of job costing while the same module of BuilderTREND also offers additional features of purchase order, and time & materials billing. BuilderTREND only offers integration with QuickBooks and has no integration option for Microsoft Office applications.
