Epicor ERP is an enterprise business solution which is available on premise, in the cloud as well as a hosted solution. Its core features include financial management, sales management & CRM, human capital management as well as service management. Other options include supply chain management, project management as well as manufacturing production, planning & scheduling, with product data management. The product support governance strategies to control risk and manage compliance, and includes workflow automation, collaboration workspaces as well as mobile device access.

Sage 500 ERP in comparison supports the same ERP functional modules, but includes a technology architecture that allows significant customization options as well as integration with other customer applications if required. Additional features include advanced manufacturing & change management, as well as time & attendance for project accounting purposes.
